Family Sponsorships

Our Family Sponsorship Program currently supports over 45 families across Cambodia, providing crucial assistance to some of the most vulnerable members of the community. Each family is carefully assessed for eligibility by our dedicated local team on the ground, ensuring support reaches those who truly need it. Sponsorships can be either short or long term, depending on the family’s circumstances and the sponsor’s capacity.

Many of the families we assist are elderly individuals with no family support, who are often left raising young grandchildren after being abandoned by their adult children in search of work across the border. Others include single-parent households, families living with disabilities, and those simply doing it tough without a safety net.

Rather than dictating how funds are used, we provide families with a modest monthly pension, giving them the autonomy and dignity to make decisions based on their unique needs. This approach fosters trust, restores dignity, and empowers families to manage their own lives with a sense of independence and hope. This simple yet powerful support often enables children in these households to remain in school—giving them stability, access to education, and a greater chance at breaking the cycle of poverty.
